So... Miss Dodger... I noticed a tweet when you and Felicia Day both said you'd like to work with each other... is this wonderful thing going to happen?
I hope so!! We have totally hung out a couple times now, whether for the Tabletop shoot or just grabbing coffee or running into each other at VidCon and she is one of the nicest people in the world. We’re both interested in working together on something but the question is ~*~what~*~. Tildes and asterisks for increased magicalness.
“If a woman who has contributed as much to the culture, genre, and perception of gaming as Felicia Day can be dismissed as “a glorified booth babe” by someone who hasn’t even bothered to read her “portfolio,” then it’s safe to say that the problem is even worse on the ground for less well-known women who make their living in the industry, much less for female gamers themselves.”—Destructoid Writer Takes Aim at Felicia Day, Shoots Himself in the Foot (via wilwheaton)
Dear Dodger. I don't think you are a hobbit at all. I think you might be a dryad o.O What do you think?
D’AWW for those of you who aren’t nerds and have no idea what a dryad is, it’s basically a tree nymph. Now we’re all caught up.
Dryads are DOPE but I don’t think I am one (y’know, in like…an alternate universe or whatever…shhh). I LUH me some nature and living in the woods will always be my zone and my most comfortable place but dryads typically refuse or hate leaving their homes (they are “rooted” if you will. Feel free to pity chuckle.). NOW WE AINT JUST TALKIN THEM DRYADS THAT WILL DIE IF THEIR TREE GETS CUT DOWN AND ALL THAT. All of the dryad lore I’ve ever read or heard has involved their shyness and reluctance to travel.
Hobbits are also pretty deeply rooted and very family oriented but I love the idea of small, underestimated people going on big adventures. That’s my jam. Hobbits are my jam. GO HOBBITS >:0
